The villages of Auer, Montan, Neumarkt
are embedded in orchards and vineyards. They are only a few kilometres from Lake Kaltern, South of Bozen. It is the home of beautiful apple orchards, as well as to wines such as the Pinot Noir, Lagrein, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. The four villages in the South Tyrolean Lowlands stretch from an altitude of 210 metres to more than 1,300 metres above sea level and are situated in the Trudner Horn Nature Park.
