Castels in Kaltern

Castle Kampan
M. v. Morandell Platz. Built around 1268 by Konrrad Kampaner. Extended around 1500. Beautiful Renaissance style, particularly the Loggia circular walk in the courtyard (privately owned, cannot be visited).

Castle Sallegg
Unterwinkelweg. Built around 1604 by the aristocrat Sepp von Seppenburg. The southern wing was built at the beginning of the 20th Century (privately owned, cannot be visited).

Castle Ringberg
Beautiful Renaissance style/Upper Etsch style. Built around 1600 by the sovereign and used as a hunting castle. Today, used as a restaurant.
