The special exhibition at the Nature Museum in Bozen is a live demonstration of evolution: living plants and animals in the exhibition make it clear that evolution is a visible process. The exhibition shows how the huge variety in nature is even possible – starting with a voyage around the world 175 years ago which revolutionised the perception of nature of natural historian Charles Darwin.

Bozen Flower Market

from 30th April to 2nd May 2010
Bolzano's traditional Flower Market will once again open the series of events marking the Bolzano Spring. Over three days Piazza Walther/Waltherplatz main square will become transformed into an exhilarating sea of flowers, colours and scents. It is a show of achievement sustained by the commitment and dedication of Bolzano's gardeners and nurseries whose effors have made it a lively, colourful and exclusive event with a wealth of novelties each year.

Bolzano Wine Tasting Festival

from 13th to 15th May
The wine route weeks 'vino in festa 10' starts with the Bolzano Wine Tasting Festival at the Muesion, Museum of modern and contemporary art in Bolzano Bozen. About 60 South Tyrol producers present their wines 2009, as well as selected wines from earlier years. Altogether can be tasted and valued about 300 wines.

Folk-Dance Europeade 2010

from 21st to 25th July in Bozen
The Europeade is the largest traditional costume and Folklore spectacle in Europe and has taken place since 1964 - however, always in a different European city. In 2010, thousands of European traditional costume bearers will sing, make music, dance and celebrate in Bozen.
