The special exhibition at the Nature Museum in Bozen is a live demonstration of evolution: living plants and animals in the exhibition make it clear that evolution is a visible process. The exhibition shows how the huge variety in nature is even possible – starting with a voyage around the world 175 years ago which revolutionised the perception of nature of natural historian Charles Darwin.

Bolzano Festival Bozen

Bolzano Festival Bozen is the annual classical music highlight in Bolzano. This year, the festival will bring together the city's excellent organisers of musical events for the seventh time: Antiqua, a festival for early music, Bolzano's two resident orchestras, the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester (GMJO), the International Piano Competition Ferrucio Busoni, including its own piano festival, as well as the Gustav Mahler Academy.

Farmer's Autumn

It represents a celebration of farmer's work which gives to people the possibility to be in touch with the real producers of speck, cheese, vegetables, fruits, wines, herbs and to buy those coming directly from the farm. Moreover, farmer's wifes are going to prepare for all the guests delicious traditional delicatessen of South Tyrol like Knödel, Gulash, sweets and much more. Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bozen Christmas Market

Christmas Market in the traditional trade town of Bolzano/Bozen: lights, fragrances and sounds enchant the Waltherplatz and the historic centre with its romantic porticos and picturesque streets with a touching atmosphere.
